New Running Time for GLOBAL SHOES!

New Running Time for GLOBAL SHOES!

Global Shoes – the leading trade show for sourcing - will kick off the next event in September 2013 with a new running time concept. A day was added to the duration in reponse to the request increasingly voiced by the market to be able to take the proper purchasing decisions with sufficient time for conversations and market surveys. The new duration from 10 to 13 September 2013 will give market players the opportunity to do so during GLOBAL SHOES.

Approx. 340 exhibitors from the 12 countries most relevant to global shoe trade will again be presented in Düsseldorf at the forthcoming GLOBAL SHOES using the changed running time to present their ranges to the buyers coming from all over the world. Exhibitors such as Dotan Ruimy of Y.Jessi from Guangzhou, China, look forward to this change with high expectations.

“We love the idea of having the fair run for 4 days, as it presents so many opportunities for everyone. Now we have an extended timeframe to fully work, which is extremely helpful timing wise. As it will now run for 4 days, the customer now has the time to review all of the halls and find more suppliers, ideas and trends. This gives them time to get a full grasp on what suppliers have to offer and make an informed decision, after having seen everything what is relevant to their business. As it’s the last fair of the season, the customer can take his time in order to make the final and correct decisions for his business.” says Dotan Ruimy, Owner of Y. Jessi from Guangzhou, China.

Mr Xu Rongjin from Yiwu Nianfa Import & Export Co. Ltd from YIWU Zhejiang, China also rated the event’s longer running time positively: “We are very delighted to know that this year the GLOBAL SHOES Fair will last for four days, one day more than it used to be. We really appreciate this decision. We are confident that we can prepare more samples and have more opportunity to meet the customers. We are sure that we can receive a more accomplishing result and wish this year’s fair a big success.”

GLOBAL SHOES’ prime feature is its variety of producers that you can generally only find at the Düsseldorf fair in Europe. This means the fair is very well geared to the market and once again underlines its importance as a leading fair for volume suppliers and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). Alongside China, the country with the most exhibitors, producers from Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan, Turkey and the USA are traditional exhibitor nations at the fair.

GDS – international event for shoes & accessories will continue to run for three days and will be held from 11 to 13 September 2013.
